Why recurring donations matter
Recurring donations provide predictable, sustainable income for your organization. Studies show that recurring donors give 42% more annually than one-time donors. With Donaiser, setting up recurring giving is built in and free.
Step 1: Enable recurring donations
Recurring donations are enabled by default in Donaiser. When a donor fills out your donation form, they'll see the option to make their gift recurring.
Step 2: Configure frequency options
Donaiser supports four giving frequencies:
- Daily — Great for micro-donations and challenge campaigns
- Weekly — Perfect for community giving programs
- Monthly — The most popular recurring option
- Yearly — Ideal for annual memberships and pledges
Step 3: Let donors manage their subscriptions
Donors can manage their recurring donations from the My Account page. They can pause during tight months, resume when ready, or cancel anytime. This transparency builds trust and reduces cancellation anxiety.
Step 4: Monitor from the admin dashboard
Track all recurring subscriptions from Donaiser's admin panel. See active subscriptions, upcoming renewals, and failed payments at a glance.
Tips for increasing recurring giving
- Make monthly the default option on your donation form
- Show the annual impact ("$25/month = $300/year = 12 meals provided")
- Send a welcome email to new recurring donors
- Recognize recurring donors publicly (with permission)
